Learn the techniques of Modern Calligraphy in a two hour workshop that will take place in the workshop space in Amo & Pax, Kilmacanogue, Co Wicklow

All materials will be provided.

You will begin the session by learning how to use your pen holder and nib and learning what materials work best. Then we will get working on exercises to practice making shapes and strokes, and then move on to letter forms. There will be plenty of time to practice and one-to-one help from calligrapher Sarah O'Dea.

Following the workshop you can take your calligraphy materials home and continue to practice!

This class is ideal for beginners, however if you have attended one of my workshops in the past, this will also be an opportunity for further development of your calligraphy and to experiment with different tools and materials.
